🎮 Gameplay
How does Artbitrator work?
You get a drawing prompt (like "elephant" or "metamorphosis"), and you race to draw it before other players. The AI watches every stroke in real-time and provides voice commentary. The first player whose drawing the AI correctly identifies wins! Unlike turn-based games, everyone draws simultaneously.
How many players can play Artbitrator?
Artbitrator supports 1-12 players in real-time multiplayer mode. You can play solo in Free Draw, Story Mode, or Weekly Challenge modes, or compete with up to 11 friends in Multiplayer Madness.
What game modes are available?
Artbitrator offers 5 game modes: 1) Multiplayer Madness (1-12 players racing), 2) Weekly Challenge (competitive leaderboards), 3) Draw All The Things (collection mode), 4) Story Mode (your doodles become stories), and 5) Free Draw (practice with AI feedback).
How long does each game take?
Most games last 5-10 minutes, making it perfect for quick creative breaks or extended gaming sessions. Each drawing round is typically 60-90 seconds.
Can I play with friends?
Absolutely! Create a private room and share the room code with friends. Up to 12 players can join the same room. You can also join public matches to compete with players worldwide.
🤖 AI Judges
How does the AI judging work?
Our AI uses advanced computer vision to analyze your drawing in real-time. It watches every stroke, makes guesses, and provides voice commentary through your chosen judge personality. The AI is trained to recognize thousands of objects and concepts.
Who are the AI judge personalities?
Choose from 5 legendary artist personalities: Bob Ross (encouraging and gentle), Picasso (critical and challenging), Dalí (surreal and wild), Van Gogh (emotional and expressive), and Frida Kahlo (honest and inspiring). Each has unique voice commentary styles!
Does the AI actually speak out loud?
Yes! The AI judges provide real voice commentary while you draw. You'll hear Bob Ross saying "What a happy little tree!" or Picasso critiquing your angles. Make sure your volume is on for the full experience!
⚖️ Comparisons
How is Artbitrator different from Gartic Phone?
Unlike Gartic Phone where you take turns and pass drawings, Artbitrator has everyone drawing the same prompt simultaneously in a race. Plus, AI judges with real voice commentary react to your drawings in real-time, making it more engaging and hilarious.
How is Artbitrator different from Skribbl.io?
Skribbl is turn-based (one person draws, others guess). In Artbitrator, everyone draws at once, racing to make the AI guess first. No waiting for your turn! Plus we have AI voice commentary and 5 different game modes.
Is Artbitrator like Google Quick Draw?
Similar concept but way more fun! Google Quick Draw is single-player with a silent AI. Artbitrator adds multiplayer competition (1-12 players), AI personalities with voice commentary, and multiple game modes. It's Quick Draw evolved.
⚙️ Technical
Can I use a stylus or drawing tablet?
Yes! Artbitrator fully supports stylus input and drawing tablets for a more natural drawing experience. Works great with iPad, Surface, Wacom tablets, and any other pressure-sensitive devices.
Are my drawings saved?
Yes! All your drawings are automatically saved with full playback. You can replay how you drew something, see how others solved the same prompt, and share your best creations.
Is there voice chat?
Yes! Artbitrator includes built-in voice chat so you can talk with other players while drawing. Trash talk your friends, strategize, or just laugh together at the chaos.
Is there a mobile app?
Currently Artbitrator is web-only, but it works great on mobile browsers! A dedicated mobile app is coming soon. The web version is fully responsive and touch-friendly.
